What do we do with all the old paint cans?
We can't legally haul them as regular waste. We'll set them aside and give you the County of San Diego HHW schedule — drop-off is free to residents. For big-volume paint situations, some Sherwin-Williams and Dunn-Edwards stores accept leftover latex back.
Can you recycle my old bikes, tools, and sports gear?
Working bikes go to a local bike shop non-profit. Functional tools to Habitat ReStore. Sports gear in decent shape to Play It Again Sports. Scrap metal gets recycled. Very little ends up in the landfill stream when we sort carefully.
What if I want to keep some shelving?
Point at what stays and we work around it. Common scenario: keep the wall shelves, pull the freestanding units, pull the workbench. No problem.
Do you clean after you load?
Yes. Sweep, blow out cobwebs, and leave the floor broom-clean. If you want a pressure wash or degrease afterward, we can refer a local pressure washer.
