What we take

What does Clear Out San Diego haul?

Furniture, appliances, mattresses, yard waste, construction debris, hot tubs, whole-house and estate cleanouts, hoarding situations, commercial. Point at it. We load. We sort. We haul. We sweep up.

Why people pick us

Why do San Diego homeowners choose Clear Out San Diego?

Junk removal has a low-bar reputation — $800 hidden quotes, lazy sorting, everything to landfill. We quote volume up front, sort and donate as we load, and leave the space broom-clean. The job takes an hour. The difference shows up in the driveway photo at the end.

  • Flat price by volume. No hourly. You see the quote before we lift a thing. 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, full truck. Pick your pile size.
  • Two-man crew. You don't lift. Stairs, walk-ups, second-floor couches. We bring the muscle, the straps, and the dollies.
  • We donate and recycle, for real. Father Joe's, Habitat ReStore, Goodwill, CRRC mattress recyclers, R2-certified e-waste. Receipts if you want them.
  • Same-day before noon. Call before noon on a weekday, slot today. Real dispatcher, not an overseas call center.

Real feedback

What homeowners across the county say

Hadn't parked a car in the garage since 2019. Called Monday, they were there Wednesday morning, and by 1 p.m. I had an empty garage swept clean. Flat price, no hourly nonsense, and they donated half of it to Habitat ReStore.

Melissa R. Garage Cleanout · Carlsbad

Dad passed and we had six weeks to list the house. Clear Out walked through with my sister and me, flagged three things that turned out to be worth something, and finished the whole 2,800 sq ft home in three days. Broom-clean handoff. Realtor was impressed.

David K. Estate Cleanout · El Cajon

Old sectional had to come out before the new one was delivered. Third-floor walk-up, narrow staircase. Two guys, 45 minutes, no charge for the stairs. They took a bookshelf and a dresser too — $275 flat. Couldn't have done it alone.

Priya S. Furniture Removal · Encinitas

Hot tub had been dead three years, sitting in the backyard mocking me. I was quoted $1,200 by two companies. Clear Out did it for $499. Cut the shell, hauled it, left the pad clean. Three hours, done. Should have called them two years ago.

Tom B. Hot Tub Removal · Poway

Tenant moved out and left a whole apartment full of junk. Buyer walkthrough was 8 a.m. the next day. I called at 10 a.m., they were there by 2 p.m., and the unit was empty by 5. Saved the sale. I'll use them for every turnover going forward.

Angela M. Same-Day Junk Removal · Chula Vista

We moved mom into memory care. The house had 40 years in it. I was dreading this. Clear Out was paced, patient, and never pressured us to rush through the sentimental stuff. Sent photos to my sister in Boston for every box before disposal. Rare professionalism.

All FAQs
What areas in San Diego County do you service?

Every city in San Diego County — coastal (Encinitas, Carlsbad, La Jolla), inland (San Marcos, Escondido, Poway), East County (El Cajon, La Mesa, Santee), South Bay (Chula Vista, National City), and mountain communities. If you're in the county, we cover you. Mountain zones typically need 24–48 hours of notice for routing.

How fast can you come today?

Same-day on most weekdays when you call before noon. Saturdays available too. Emergency windows — buyer walkthrough tomorrow, tenant move-out deadline, HOA notice — we hold slots open every day for exactly this kind of need.

How is junk removal priced?

By volume, not by weight or hour. Minimum pickup $129. A quarter-truck runs $249–$299. Half-truck $399–$449. Full 20-cubic-yard truck $550–$750. You see the flat price before we lift anything. No hourly, no dump-fee surprises, no creeping totals.

What do you do with everything after you haul?

We sort. Usable furniture and appliances go to Father Joe's Villages, Habitat ReStore, and Goodwill. Metal goes to a scrapper. Mattresses go to a certified CRRC recycler. E-waste goes R2-certified. We'd rather make two stops than dump a load to landfill.

What will you not take?

Hazardous waste by law: paint, pesticides, motor oil, asbestos, propane tanks, ammunition. Those go to the County of San Diego Household Hazardous Waste drop-off (free to residents). Everything else — furniture, appliances, mattresses, yard waste, construction debris, hot tubs, hoarding situations — we handle.
